Community Support
UMCC is committed to community support and actively encourages and supports its staff to volunteer for local community efforts. Just some of the community support we are involved in includes the following.
Supporting Mums & Bubs
A number of our staff help support mums and women throughout the South West. We help out by transporting and assisting with the distribution of specialised packs for Mums & Bubs, and provide other support services for local women and men who are in need of a helping hand. In addition to the Mums & Bubs packs, we also assist by transporting items like bedding and baby furniture.
We also collect and distribute packs – full of personal essentials to maintain health and confidence – for Men who are in need.
Helping Rough Sleepers
UMCC staff also volunteer at a weekly luncheon for local homeless people and for others doing it tough in our community. Our support includes cooking and serving a very welcoming hot lunch for up to 35 people every Sunday.
Sponsor of the Bunbury United Soccer Club
UMCC are proud sponsors a local soccer club Bunbury United, helping out with uniforms, transport and general support as needed.
